However, we don't see everything, of course, so feel free to contribute! Want something in next week's post? Send the SoME team a beacon!

WEEK 17 OF WoME

Dear inhabitants of Middle Earth, this is your Elder Queen speaking, Íona. I hope you are doing fine on this wonderful day, that your corps are growing, and your cows are healthy- oh, that was a little too much? Hm, okay.

From my dear husband I heard that our one and only Caine Jendrying is a little... well, let's say occupied with a few hay stacks, therefore I will be taking over this week and bring you a new edition of 52 weeks of Middle Earth.

So, where do we start? Our little boy, Folca just turned seven months, and you all know what that means- Oh, you don't? Well, that is a little awkward. He started crawling, and let me just say, I definitely need more than two eyes now to keep an eye on him. Why didn't anyone warn me for this? How could a boy that small be that fast?

Too much personal stuff? My apologies. Let's see what else happened in Middle Earth this week. I have heard rumours that one of our dear Kings, Kalaethuin, has been spotted stealing some pies? Dare I say this isn't the first time he has been spotted, coughs, stealing something, but dear, a King only has to ask.

Now a question from me: have you already gotten accustomed to our new kingdoms? I must say, I am so incredibly happy with the support I am now getting for our three Kings and Queen. You will be hearing this from me first, but I can feel the Valar's blessing for what we have done to the lands, which can only mean more good things are to come!

That also brings me to our next subject. We still have some amazing jobs open we are eager to see filled. 3! Sage positions are up for grabs, and I heard that our newspaper is in dire need of folks who can write an article for them weekly. From the bottom of my heart I can only ask you to apply if you feel pulled to any of these jobs. I am always available for questions if there are any!

And oh dear, oh ,dear, I am now to choose a person of the week, am I not? Well, I can't, instead I want to shower an entire team with love: our one and only Kadon and his flamingos!. They are working incredibly hard behind the scenes, and I am already so curious to see what they will bring us in the future!

Namárië,
Íona Draugrîs,
Elder Queen of Middle Earth
