Spring in the Shire

The Shire was home to most of the Hobbits, the capital being Michel Delving. . It was based in the northwestern portion of Middle-earth which was in the Kingdom of Arnor. The other names for it were Sûza or Sûzat which just meant "The Shire." At first, hobbits didn't live here, they lived in the vale of Anduin but then soon migrated towards The Shire, via the misty mountain. The Hobbits were given permission to live here and settled down rather quickly as it had been very unpopulated due to the great plague which had affected many. It was said that this was the best spring that they'd had but I can't seem to find why. What do you think? The shire gives me telletubbie vibes.
