About 52 weeks

A lovely topic, a new event... every week there are more and more things to enjoy around here. This weekly post will serve as a roadmap through everything WoME has to offer.

Your imput!

However, I don't see everything, of course, so feel free to contribute! Want something in next week's post? Send me a beacon!

WEEK 3 OF WoME

My apologies if I write this a little crookedly, but I was sadly gravely injured during my scuffle with the Octopus, causing it necessary for me to be rescued by Susie so I would not perish. And that while I only wanted a little weekend getaway! Seems the fresh sea air does not always bode well.

A nice bridge to our Octopus event, however! It is, as we speak, going splendidly! I have seen some successes, some fails, some.. critical failure, but I myself was able to snatch in some damage or two. I (and I am very sure Kadon as well) would love to hear your opinion on the ongoing event, so please do not hesitate to comment on this blog if you enjoyed it. What should we fight next? Orcs? Giant spiders?

Stepping away from the spiders - thank you very much - I would like to share a tidbit of gossip with you all - after all, that is why you are all reading these articles, right (at least I hope you are all reading these, mhhhh?) - and I would hate to disappoint you all.

A little birdy has told me that there is wedding planning going on! I do love a wedding, my own was a lovely ordeal and I loved how many people showed up. I only hope people will extend the same courtesy to Feka and Sara, who are rumoured to be wed in week 6. Keep an eye out for the invitation, and Feka and/or Sara, don't forget to expect a uge party!

There is a new book in the library! Yesterday Morwen enlightened us about the fact that Wildlife of Middle Earth, written by Jadros Felgrom, is now available for reading! I advise you all to check it out (it has horses)!

I also heard there was... something about bees? Lovely little creatures.

This week's Hero ties in with the Event and our giant octopus (who seems to be a theme today, whoops!) as I would like to crown Kadon Thrawn as our Hero of the Week for his great event and his effective rolling of dice - even if he got SOME of us quite gravely wounded..

Like last week, I would love to give a shout out to someone that one of you chose, so do you have a particularly fine roleplay partner, a spiritual ray of sunshine in chat or someone who made your day a better place? Send me their name!

Do never hesitate to beacon me for anything, and let's hope these weekly posts will help us all to bring the site to a new level!

Kindest regards,,
Tobias Elkhart & the SoME team
