WEEK 7 OF WoME
It is our seventh week in this blog series brought to you by yours truly — Caine Jendryng! From now on, your weekly date with the latest news around World of Middle Earth will continue to be in my company!
This past week we have seen a lot of changes in the higher ranks of our community. We start off with some unfortunate news as the Lady of Elves Feka Vaxidor left her position in the care of a successor who is yet to be elected by Queen Íona and her trusted Advisor. Of course, we all hope that plenty of Elves will try their luck at presenting themself as the ideal candidate for such an intimidating set of responsibilities. If you believe you have what it takes to become the next Lord or Lady of the Realm of Elves, you can send a beacon to Queen Íona.
Secondly, we have some good news, certainly for myself and my fellow Announcer Sigrúnn! After long days of searching for the perfect candidate to follow in Tobias Elkhart's steps as the Steward of Announcers, Daisy Sullivan will from now on be tasked with the challenge of keeping my feisty butt in check! When I asked her about her new position as Steward of Announcers, Daisy told me the following:
"Cooking is something I've loved from a young age, but change is always a big part of life and I felt that it was time to take that big step. Social Media is great fun and I'm really looking forwards to running the wonderful team of Announcers we have, and promoting our incredible site. It'll certainly be a learning opportunity but I can already see that it's going to be so much fun. So, I say, bring it!"
Lastly, our Hero of the Week is a personal favourite of mine. Nerves of steel and patience that lasts forever, the honour of Hero of the Week goes to Onóir Moriel!
