About 52 weeks

A lovely topic, a new event... every week there are more and more things to enjoy around here. This weekly post will serve as a roadmap through everything WoME has to offer.

Your input!

However, we don't see everything, of course, so feel free to contribute! Want something in next week's post? Send the SoME team a beacon!

WEEK 10 OF WoME

It is our tenth week in this blog series brought to you by yours truly — Caine Jendryng! Now, let's take a look at the latest news which has reached my ears during the past few days...

Many of you were present when this year's awards have been announced. Once again, the Festivities Team has done a splendid job at bringing us a great evening full of entertainment. If you want to have a look at who were the lucky award winners for this year, you can check out the Awards Book for Year Three in the Atheneum!

In these last few days of our third year, a lot has been going on. The youngest among us have been working hard and proud to study for their exams and pass as many as they can in order to make it to the next year!

At that same time, the birds and the bees have been flying high among the adult population. Or at least, that's what my little birds have told me... So it happened that Róin Thore was the quickest to 'claim' the brand new Lady of Elves, Soledad Nîbryîl, and Eamon Bluefeather continued to impress his date at the Prancing Pony with his 'beautiful worker hands'...

Finally, our Hero of the Week for this tenth week does not go to only one person, but to a whole lot of people! During the past week, I have received a beacon from Mira Meraki who told me the following:

"I would like to nominate all of the staff as a thank you for their hard work over the year so far — for being around making people feel welcome, and making everyone smile. From the funny jokes to the hard work. For everyone to make sure that this site is booming to be around. From the stalkers to the behind-the-scenes workers. They all should get a big thank you for the hard work, and not just the grad staff jobs but also the students, without them the site would be less colorful!

For next week, I would love to give another shout out to someone that one of you chose, so do you have a particularly fine roleplay partner, a spiritual ray of sunshine in chat or someone who made your day a better place? Send me their name!

Do never hesitate to beacon me for anything (especially if it's something you'd love to see being featured in next week's blog), and let's hope these weekly posts will help us all to bring the site to a new level!

Kindest regards,
Caine Jendryng
